One child from each primary is selected to be part of our Eco Committee. They are in charge of all the environmental things. Once a term the committee get together for half an hour to discuss problems, achievements, and ideas to be more Eco friendly.
The aim of this group is to improve Reay Primary’s sustainability and to promote awareness of environmental issues to all pupils across the school, helping them to become globally responsible citizens.
Reay Primary School’s Eco Committee have been working very hard over the last few years, and are delighted to announce they have been awarded our second Green Flag status. We are one of 36 schools in Highland who have gained Green Flag Award status for a second time.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the wider school community for their continuous support with all our projects, as well as our Parent volunteer Donella Mackay.
